George Brett played 3B for the Royals his entire career (1973-1993). He won the AL MVP in 1980 and ALCS MVP in 1985. Brett was a 13 time all star, won 3 silver slugger awards and 1 gold glove when he played for the Royals. During his MLB career he hit .305 while amassing 3,154 hits – 317 of which were HR’s. The Royals retired his number (#5).
